Project
Goalie Camera
In the initial development phase of the goalie camera, aesthetics and function were a high priority for the client. The resulting camera housing was 3D printed in TPU (an elastomer with rubber like properties). The finished design accommodated internal hardware within the casing, to allow for securing the camera, camera adjustments and tensioning the straps. These features addressed function and form: Quick interchange with adjustments between goalies/referees, and blended surfaces in a compact and distinct housing allowing our client to bring a new viewing experience to the audience. Ongoing collaboration has allowed for reprint variations to accommodate camera, helmet, and accessory changes with a short turnaround time.
